MINING: Open Mine Day

The MINING collective shows in the context of the Open Mind Day, the extract of the two projects MINING: Untertage (São Paulo, 2018) and MINING: Filmhaus (Vienna, 2020) in form of photographs and video works. The collective stages the exhibition space in the already heavily deformed building. Curtains, taken from the former Sophienspital, form the display for the video works and guide visitors into the exhibition. The images of the works hang on the white walls, from which, however, the paint is peeling off and drill holes indicate their former use.
