Performative Installation, Result of Ilse Lafer‘s Seminar “Abstraction, or When the Room Becomes the Fish”, Exhibition Space of the Former Generali Foundation, Vienna, 2015
The foundation of this work lies in the topics transversability and accessibility. With foam panels, borrowed from a construction site, I’ve created and rearranged walls inside the abandoned exhibition space, until stable constellations appeared from a set number of panels. Walls were added and barriers were thrown up, which influenced the space as well as the works contained within.
